Zips Esports is the official esports program of The University of Akron. It features Akron Esports; 8 varsity esports teams in League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Rainbow 6 Siege with over 50 students on scholarship. It also supports club teams for all students.
